Launch of The Emerging Collectors Salon
No. 9 —
The First of
a New Series.
The Emerging Collectors Salon is a curated conversation series for those who are building their relationship with art — intentionally, personally, and on their own terms. Each gathering brings together collectors, artists, and advisors in intimate settings where the conversation is the point.
The Emerging Collectors Salon Series launched exactly as it should have; with new faces, familiar friends, and a conversation that no one was ready to leave. The Emerging Collectors Brunch Series gave us the foundation: the community, the trust, the conversation. The Emerging Collectors Salon Series is what grows from that. Two formats, one mission: creating space for collectors who are building something intentional.
Hosted by Troy and the Hamm family at their home, the setting did what the best settings do — it disappeared into the evening. The outdoor space was perfectly arranged, the weather cooperated as if it had been on the invitation list, and the atmosphere felt less like an event and more like the kind of afternoon you describe to people for weeks afterward.
The conversation wasn't just about acquiring art, it was about what it means to truly support an artist. To show up. To share a meal. To build something that lasts beyond the transaction.
Each Salon brings together an art professional — whether an advisor, curator, gallerist, or other voice from the field — to help collectors think through how to acquire intentionally and live meaningfully with a collection. The format invites real conversation, not lectures. This first evening proved exactly why. Every voice in the room participated, and the conversation kept arriving somewhere deeper than collecting. Community, legacy, and what it really means to be part of an artist's story.
