Emerging Collectors Salon | Houston

A curated evening bringing together emerging collectors, artists, and cultural investors for conversation, connection, and access to the art world.
The Houston Salon will feature the work of Shavon Aja Morris, whose collage-based photography reworks found images to rediscover the essence of the Black American woman.
Morris has exhibited at institutions including the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and the Museum of Craft and Design, and was recently recognized as a finalist for the global Aperture Portfolio Prize.
Through intimate conversation, guided gaze and directed dialogue, the Salon invites guests to engage directly with artists and ideas shaping the contemporary culture of fine art collecting.

Each Emerging Collectors Brunch is an intimate experience, limited to just 30–40 guests to ensure meaningful connection and conversation.
Every gathering features a carefully curated mix of voices in the art world: an established artist, an emerging artist selected by them, seasoned collectors, and leaders in the local arts community. The remaining seats are reserved for emerging collectors who are eager to learn, engage, and grow.
This balance creates a unique environment where new collectors can build relationships, gain insight, and join a network that bridges experience with a fresh perspective.
