A student of Art History, Jeremy Simmons has built a collection that aims to honor the Ancestors. Simmons’ collection, which he began amassing in 2008, is primarily Black American and comprehensive.

The Simmons Collection includes works from the masters of the Harlem Renaissance such as Jacob Lawrence, Gullah sweetgrass baskets from the South Carolina low country, and works from Texas natives Delita Martin and Robert Hodge.
