Dear Friends,

Event Details
Date: October 12, 2024
Time: 7 PM
Location: The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts
Why This Matters
Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is more than just an arts organization. It’s a lifeline for artists and nonprofits across our city, helping them recover from disasters, conducting vital research on the arts' economic impact, and driving equity programs. HAA’s work ensures that our arts community remains bold, productive, and strong.
This year’s theme is “The World’s Stage,” and it’s going to be an incredible evening full of creativity and inspiration. Mark and I are thrilled to be part of the gala Host Committee, supporting such a vital cause.
A Personal Story
I am not sure if you know but in 2019, HAA awarded a grant to, Mark, for his podcast, Arts Explanatory Comma. This belief in his podcast’s impact propelled him back into his artistic practice, eventually leading to his MFA completion and the creation of remarkable new work. This is just one example of how HAA’s support can transform lives and careers.
How You Can Support
Since 2022 I have consistently served on the HAA Special Events Committee and I am now a Board Member. Your presence at the gala would mean the world to us and contribute greatly to the arts community. You can purchase tickets and find sponsorship opportunities here: HAA Gala Sponsorships.
